The dispute between Mohan Babu and YVS Chowdary over non-payment of remuneration for 'Salem' is getting worse day-by-day. Last week, A Court in Erramanzil sentenced Mohan Babu to 1 year imprisonment and also imposed a penalty of Rs 41 lakh in the cheque bounce case. Three Months Time was given to make the payment to the Filmmaker.

Post the verdict, Mohan Baby accused YVS Chowdary of misleading the court with false allegations. 'I had issued that cheque for another movie. We decided to shelve the project after 'Salem' flopped. Still, YVS deposited the cheque and filed the case. We will challenge this judgement in the Sessions Court. Don't believe the false allegations being spread by few channels,' he said.

And now, YVS Chowdary served legal notice to Mohan Babu for making baseless allegations. 'I had approached the court for Rs 40.5 lakh Mohan Babu owes to Me. The judgement has been delivered after 9 years. I am hurt with the allegations made against Me by Mohan Babu. I had purchased 20 guntas land in Jalpally Village in Hyderabad during 'Salem' shoot. Post the verdict, Mohan Babu has been stopping us from entering in the property belonged to us by constructing a wall, closing the entry and deploying bouncers. If he doesn't stop creating such obstructions within 7 days, I will be proceeding legally,' warned the Director.

YVS Chowdary released the complete details about the ongoing dispute to the media through his Lawyers. Why don't Mohan Babu settle the matter in the court rather than making things much more complicated?
