The dreaded disease originated from the Wuhan Province of China has left a deadly impact on everything around us forcing the country to impose lockout which has now entered the fourth phase.
Adding to the list of this, the dreaded disease also impacted the employment of India as a result a whopping 6 crores Indians turned unemployment with the economy facing huge losses.
The recent data reveals that the rate of unemployment reached 23.80% as of the 19th of May which was only 23.52% in the month of April. Ever since the lockout was imposed in India companies that faced losses started to lay off their employees as they couldn't pay their salaries.
To date, many companies have been cutting some portion of the salaries of their employees as a way to tackle the financial losses. We should appreciate those companies for their efforts in retaining their employees rather than laying off.
