A Bengaluru-based dog breeder announced Rs 1 lakh reward after his three-year-old Alaskan Malamute reportedly went missing from a house in Srinagar, south Bengaluru, a few weeks ago.
The three-year-old Alaskan Malamute lovingly called Samsung was imported from Beijing, China, a couple of years ago by Sathish and it was a rare breed cost 8 crores.
Samsung was with Sathish initially, but a brother-sister, who are students at a local school started visiting Sathish's house regularly to play with the dog. Sathish then decided to give the dog to the family on a condition, the family could have the dog, but when it gave birth to pups, they could keep just one pup, and hand over the rest of the to Sathish. Samsung then went away with the family and lived at their house in Hanumanthanagar.
On December 21 there was a program and Satish was the Chief guest for that program. Satish asked family members to send Samsung they gave an excuse and then he sternly asked them what happened to Samsung, then they said that the dog was stolen. Satish told them to give a complaint after which he circulated the dog's photographs and details on every dog group he knew. He also put up a post on the reward and since then a hunt is on for Samsung.
