Donald Trump And Joe Biden Spent 502 Crores On Social Media Ads: A Report
United States President Donald Trump and Democratic Party Presidential candidate Joe Biden, who are gearing up for the upcoming Presidential elections have spent more than $65 million on social media advertising, a report said.
Popular Syracuse University in its report claimed that for in a span of three months, between June 1 and September 13, the duo has spent $65.8 million on social media advertising.
They have spent a lion share of the amount on buying Facebook and Instagram ad buys, the report said.
The Presidential candidates have spent around 30 percent of the campaign amount to mobilise the voters
According to the report, the candidates have spent nearly 40 percent of the total amount between August 10 and September 13, which translates to $27 million combined.
On the other hand, between the period of August 10 to September 4, Donald Trump and Joe Biden have spent $60 million in total on the television ads.
The reports stated that the leaders have spent money on the campaign on other modes like Print, radio, and billboard, but the share is very less. The share will be less than 5 percent.
