When the US Congress met on Wednesday to officially declare Joe Biden's victory over Donald Trump in the 2020 US Presidential elections, Trump supporters barged in the US Capitol and created a ruckus.

Days after the shocking incident, the Microblogging site Twitter swung into action and permanently suspended the Twitter account of the outgoing United States President Donald Trump.

Twitter confirmed the news of the permanent suspension of Donald Trump's account and said the decision was taken on the grounds of possible "risk of further incitement of violence”.

"After a close review of recent Tweets from the @realDonaldTrump account and the context around them we have permanently suspended the account due to the risk of further incitement of violence," Twitter said.

Well, Twitter has been facing allegations for not going hardly on Donald Trump as he has reportedly made many tweets that are said to be instigating violence. After the US Capitol issue, Twitter suspended his account.

On Wednesday, Donald Trump's Twitter account was temporarily blocked by the microblogging site. But today, the account was suspended permanently for violating certain norms.

Before Twitter banned his account, Donald Trump in his Tweet claimed that Twitter has gone further to ban free speech. He even alleged that Twitter employees had coordinated with democrats.

However, minutes after Donald Trump made such tweets, the microblogging site has taken down these tweets. Later, his account was permanently suspended by Twitter.
