Dubbak By-Polls To Turn More Interesting!

Update: 2020-10-04 07:30 GMT
With the Election Commission of India issuing the election schedule of the by-election for the Dubbak Assembly in Telangana, the political game turned quite interesting.

While the by-polls is a good opportunity for the Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) to test their lucks, the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi(TRS) is eyeing to retain the seat.

It is believed that earlier, the TRS party wanted to make deceased Lawmaker Solipeta Ramalinga Reddy's wife Solipeta Sujatha run for the by-polls to bank on the sympathy.

Amid this, the election survey results are believed to be not in favor of the ruling TRS party as a majority of people in the constituency are angry over the  Mallannasagar project.

It is believed that the party workers of the ruling TRS are also not happy with the party leadership favoring Ramalinga Reddy's wife or son, as the deceased Lawmaker encouraged groupism when the local body polls took place.

If we have to take anything from the media reports, the TRS party wants to announce IAS officer and Siddipet collector Venkattram Reddy as the party candidate, who enjoys a good reputation.

It has been reported that Venkattram Reddy is interested to enter politics and in the past, he even tried to get a party ticket from TRS too. These speculations made the battle even more interesting.
