Earthquake relief: Row over Beef sent by Pak to Nepal!

Update: 2015-04-30 09:09 GMT
Pakistan sending ready-to-eat 'beef masala' to earthquake-hit Nepal as part of the relief material sparked a huge controversy.

Apparently, Majority of the population in Nepal are Hindu of which most of them consider cows as sacred and there is also  a blanket ban on slaughtering the animal. In this country, Cow slaughter is a big crime and the guilty will be awarded 12 years of imprisonment or hanging till death.

Indian Doctors who reached Kathmandu to take care of the earthquake victims noticed the beef masala packets in the relief material. Few locals who were unaware of the contents of the packets began eating them but thrown them away after realising its nothing but beef.

Pakistan's act might trigger a diplomatic problem between the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) member countries. Nepal Government has order for an internal enquiry on the issue to verify the facts.
