Election Commission served notices to Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao over making disrespectful comments on the Hindus ahead of the 2019 Lok Sabha Polls.

Apparently, Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) state president M Rama Raju complained to EC against KCR over inappropriate comments on Hindus. During the election meeting in Karimnagar, KCR passed the comment: 'Ee Hindu Gallu...Bondu Gallu, Dikkumalini Daridrapu Gallu, Desham Lo Aggi Petale Gattar Levale...'.

Election Commission felt the comment made by Telangana CM comes under the violation of Election Code of Conduct. KCR was ordered to offer an explanation by 5 pm on April 12th. Based on the reply, EC will take action on the complaint over the comment which might have the potential to disturb the religious harmony.

Actually, The intention of KCR is to attack BJP over Ram Mandir issue and Cow vigilantism. Those comments weren't intended at hurting the sentiments of the Hindus.
