Education Department makes key suggestions to AP Govt on conducting exams

As a favourable condition to the Andhra Pradesh Education Department, the state has been seeing a steady decline in Coronavirus infections over the past days. Following this, the department is busy preparing a plan to conduct the exams.

According to the media reports, the department has made a key suggestions to the government on the conduction of the exams.

The suggestions are that the Class 10 exams should be conducted between July 26 to August 2. As a bid to reduce the stress of the students, the department advised that the number of papers should be reduced to 7 from 11.

Coming to the Intermediate, the exams will be held between July 7 to 25. The suggestions were already submitted to the government.

It is said that Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is expected to chair a key meeting today and he might discuss the suggestions during the meeting and will take a call on this.

It is already known that, the state government is in no mood of cancelling the exams.Earlier Education Minister said, the exams will be held once the situation gets under control.
