The Election Commission of India has released the election schedule for the Dubbaka by-election 2020. The By-poll in 54 assembly constituencies will be held along with the Dubbaka by-poll on November 3rd.
The autonomous Constitutional authority said the election notification will be released on October 9th. The by-polls will be held on November 3rd and the election results will be out on the 10th of November.
The election code will come into force in the Dubbaka Assembly constituency from today. The candidates should file the nominations on or before October 16th. The Nominations of candidates cannot be withdrawn after October 19.
The Dubbaka Assembly constituency in Telangana became vacant as the former TRS Lawmaker S. Ramalinga Reddy died of a cardiac arrest at a private hospital in Hyderabad on August 6th.
All the parties have kick-started the campaign process. While the ruling TRS is not leaving any stone unturned to retain the seat, Congress and BJP are putting in efforts to win the seat.
