The Election Commission issued a notice to TRS chief KCR and his son IT minister KTR for violating the model code of conduct ahead of the MLC elections in the state and asked them to give their explanation WITH IN 48 HOURS.
The Election Commission raised objection over KCR making promises to the Khammam district leaders in the CM Camp office. The EC also said that it has received objection over KTR for presenting party shawls to some leaders at the secretariat.
MLC elections are scheduled for 27 December and election code was imposed in telangana state.The elections will be held for Legislative Council from Local Authorities Constituencies of Adilabad, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Medak, Rangareddy, Mahabubnagar, Nalgonda and Khammam.
