If we have a look at the list of Rajya Sabha members who are completing their term now, we can understand about the missing glamour. 58 MPs in Rajya Sabha from 16 states including the two Telugu states are going to complete their term soon.

Many opine that it is difficult for the new members to match their glamour.
The elections are going to take place for these 58 MP seats on March 23. On the other hand, bypoll is going to take place for the MP seat resigned by Kerala JDU member Veerendra Kumar. On the whole, 59 new members are going to enter Rajya Sabha after March 23. The majority of them will be from Uttar Pradesh. If we take a look at the numbers.. 10 members from UP, 6 each from Bihar..Maharashtra, 5 each from Madhya Pradesh.. West Bengal... six from the two Telugu states.

Minister for Petroleum Dharmendra Pradhan.. Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad.. Deputy Ministers Purushottam Rupala.. Mansukh L Mandaviya also among them.
