11 CMs Of Indian States Face Criminal Cases

As per the report of Association for Democratic Reform (ADR), Eleven out of 31 Chief Ministers in India have been facing criminal cases.

Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis tops the list with 22 criminal cases. Three of them are serious criminal charges.

Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan is second in the list with 11 cases which include cheating. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal stood at 3rd position with 10 cases. Punjab CM Amarinder Singh and UP CM Yogi Adityanath have four cases each.

AP CM Chandrababu Naidu have three cases against him but none of them are considered serious by ADR. Whereas, Telangana CM KCR is facing two cases related to criminal intimidation, unlawful restraint and unlawful Assembly. Even Puducherry CM Narayanaswamy have two cases against him. Bihar CM Nitish Kumar and Jammu & Kashmir CM Mehbooba Mufti face one case each.
