Elon Musk Overtakes Facebook's Zuckerberg In Bloomberg Billionaires Index!

The company shares of American electric vehicle and clean energy company Tesla, Inc jumped to around 14 percent after the company witnessed a growth in sales of electric autos this year.

After the shares of the company increased, Tesla, Inc was announced to include in the S&P 500. Tesla, Inc is believed to have added more than $450 million in the form of profits.

The S&P 500 is an index which measures the performance of 500 large companies that are listed on the stock exchange in the United States

With Tesla's stock closing at $408.09, the fortune of CEO and product architect of the company Elon Musk has increased by more than $15 billion, the Bloomberg Billionaires Index said.

The Index also said Elon Musk has overtaken Facebook founder, billionaire Mark Zuckerberg to become the third-richest person globally with a fortune of $117.5 billion. His fortune increased from $90.8 billion.

It certainly should be an eventful few days for Musk since testing positive for Covid-19 and his rocket company launching four astronauts into space.

Well, Elon Musk seems to be on cloud nine with back to back good news with the achievements of his companies. A few days back, Elon Musk's SpaceX has launched four astronauts to the International Space Station

Back in September 2020, Elon Musk has surpassed the fortune of Facebook Inc. co-founder Mark Zuckerberg to emerge as the third richest person in the world. Months apart, Elon Musk once again overtook Zuckerberg.
