Eman Ahmed, the Egyptian woman, is known to be the World's Heaviest Woman until few months ago as she used to weigh 504 kg. It's her tour of India that helped her cut down the excess weight and she now disowns the World record as well.
In a span of two months, Eman Ahmed lost 242 kg which is almost 50% of her body weight when she landed in India. And now, She weighs just 262 kg and this drastic weight loss improved the functioning of her organs.
Dr Muffazal Lakdawala who heads the team of surgeons treating the special patient at the Saifee Hospital said: 'Eman Ahmed was put on a weight-loss diet. Even the surgery, Laparoscopic Sleeve Gastrectomy, helped her shed oodles of weight in a short span. The drastic change in weight in few weeks is because of the loss of excess water in her body. She might lose nearly 30 kg per month for the next few months'.
Eman Ahmed's ride side of the body is still paralyzed because of the brain stroke she suffered 3-years-ago.
