EM Blasts 17 Sixes To Set New World Record

England Skipper Eoin Morgan has gone brutal in the World Cup league match against Afghanistan at Old Trafford on Tuesday. He smashed 17 sixes in the ODI to set a new World Record.

In just 71 balls, Morgan scored 148 runs which include 17 sixes to help England post a massive total. Until now, West Indies cricketer Chris Gayle and South Africa's AB de Villiers jointly hold the most sixes record in the ODIs. While Gayle smashed 16 sixes in the match against Zimbabwe during 2015 World Cup, ABD blasted 16 sixes in the match against West Indies.

Morgan scored century in just 57 balls. This is the fourth-fastest ever in the World Cup history. He scored 118 out of 148 runs only in the form of boundaries.

Rashid Khan who is the star bowler of Afghanistan conceded 110 runs in 10 overs due to the Eoin Morgan's destructive batting. England posted a total of 397 in 50 overs losing 6 wickets. Afghanistan is on the verge of defeat by making only 160 runs by the end of 34 overs at the loss of 3 wickets.
