Telangana Finance Minister Etela Rajendar turned philosophical during a candid chit chat with media persons regarding the aftereffects of demonetisation.
Speaking to the media after the first day of Assembly session, Etela commented, 'What will one take with them after death? See, what happened in the case of Jayalalithaa? What happened to her 10,000 sarees?'.
Regarding the demonetisation, The Finance Minister revealed that few party member had offered to convert old notes he have with new currency. Then, Etela told them, 'If you have old notes, given them to Me so that I would pay my debts!'.
Etela claims he sanctioned Rs 5 crore for the development of temples in the state despite being an atheist.
