Every Citizen Wins If Country Wins But..!: Jaitley

Update: 2019-05-02 12:08 GMT
Finance Minister Arjun Jaitley claims United Nations declaring Jaish-e-Mohammed chief Masood Azhar as a global terrorist as a big win for Modi Government which adopted a zero-tolerance policy on terror. He told China had withdrawn its objection only because of the Pulwama Terror Attack and Balakot Air Strikes.

Actually, There was no mention about the Pulwama Terror Attack in the UNSC Document listing Masood Azhar as a global terrorist. Jaitley, however, defends saying there is no need to mention about each activity involved by Masood Azhar. He stresses, 'The point is that he is declared a terrorist and he will have to bear the consequences'.

Arun Jaitley believed India achieved this diplomatic success by convincing the global community with the material provided by it on the terror activities of Masood Azhar. He opined every Citizen wins when the country wins but the Opposition Parties in India doesn't thinks so because it will have to pay the political price by joining this win.

The Union Minister blamed then UPA Govt for maintaining a weak stand after 26/11 Mumbai Terror Attacks. He recalls, 'Then PM Manmohan Singh said no when one of the former service chiefs moved the proposal of strike back'.
