The politics in the country are now revolving around the Bollywood film âThe Kashmir Files'. The support and the helping hand given by the Union Government for the film gave birth to controversy and several doubts were raised by the political experts on the government showing special interest in the film.
On the other hand, a section of people and the opposition parties are raising their voice against the film alleging that truths are not shown in the film and it is filled with propaganda and false narrative.
Hindustani Awam Morcha chief and former Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi had made sensational claims on the movie and raised a doubt that the makers might have links with the terror outfits. Having said that, he had sought a probe to look into it.
Talking about the content shown in the film, the former Chief Minister alleged that it did not appear that the makers showed the atrocities faced by the Kashmiri Pandits but it creates a sensation that the Kashmir valley is not safe for them and they should not return.
The ex-CM had placed his reservations that there is a possibility of terror organization's hand behind the film and hence there is a need of conducting a probe to see if the makers have any links with the outfits or not.
This is the new controversy related to the film. Earlier, actor Prakash Raj had asked if the film is healing the wounds or planting the seeds of hate among the people. Forer Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah alleged that the film is filled with lies and false information.
