DMK leader M K Stalin was in the midst of a controversy. A video is doing round sin media and it showed him slapping a fellow passenger on board a metro train in Chennai. In the video the DMK leader and son of former Chief Minister M Karunanidhi is seen backhanding the passenger in a metro train.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa condemned the incident and said it as an uncivilised behaviour. Despite evidence on camera, MK Stalin has denied slapping a fellow passenger during his ride.
Stalins office issued a statement saying that Stalin gestured a man to move from women passengers. He inadvertently touched him due to train jolt.
Tamilnadu metro recently started its operations.On Wednesday , besides Stalin, DMDK chief Vijayakanth too took a ride in the newly launched Metro. Stalin said that project was initiated by the previous DMK regime.
