Taking to Twitter, the former Chief Minister announced the news.He requested everyone who have come in contact with him to isolate themselves and get tested.
"I have tested positive for Covid-19. I request everyone who came in close contact with me over the last few days to isolate themselves and get tested," HD Kumaraswamy tweet read.
The former Chief Minister has been campaigning vigorously for the by election for his party for Basavakalyan by election. The constituency went for by poll on Saturday.
