Ex-Minister Resigns To Jana Sena

Former Minister Ravela Kishore Babu tendered his resignation to Jana Sena Party on Saturday. He has unsuccessfully contested from Prathipadu Constituency in the recent elections.

Ravela Kishore Babu had Railway Services background. He surprised many by managing to obtain TDP MLA Ticket for Prathipadu in 2014 Elections. Chandrababu Naidu inducted him into Cabinet but sacked him 3 years later. Since then, Ravela maintained distance from party activities and joined Jana Sena few months before the elections. He is one among the first four candidates announced by Pawan Kalyan. Jana Sena Chief even assured Cabinet Berth for Ravela if Jana Sena forms the Government.

Post his defeat, Ravela had neither visited Jana Sena Office nor met Pawan Kalyan. He sent his resignation letter to Jana Sena Chief on the day 25 Ministers of YCP Government took oath in the Secretariat at Velagapudi. Ravela claimed to have resigned to Jana Sena due to personal reasons.

Sources say, The former Minister is in touch with BJP and YCP Leaders. Close Coterie has been advising Ravela to prefer YCP over BJP.
