The Districts Reorganization issue in Andhra Pradesh continues to see protests in various parts of the state. One such protest was held in Narasapuram and an interesting incident took place at the protest. A former Minister had surprised everyone with his actions at the protest.
Former Minister Kothapalli Subba Rayudu took part in the protest that was held to raise a demand to make Narasapuram the district headquarters. Addressing the gathering, the Ex-Minister had apologized to the people for working for the victory of MLA Mudunuri Prasada Raju.
Saying that he made a mistake by working for MLA's victory in the elections, the ex-Minister slapped himself with a chappal. While apologizing to the people, Rayudu said that he should slap himself with a chappal. To everyone's surprise, he slapped himself.
He went on to say that the MLA had failed to understand the fight from the public and urged him to take part in the fight at least now. He had failed us in this regard. Now I am realizing the mistake, he said.
