Ex TDP MP's Son Arrested by NCB in Drug Case!

Update: 2022-05-26 09:27 GMT
Compared to earlier, the focus on the drug menace has increased after the sensational death case of Bollywood talented actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Post the incident, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has been busting the rackets aggressively and taking the accused into custody. In the due course, many big rackets were busted and high-profile people were arrested.

As another breakthrough, the NCB sleuths have busted a drug racket in Bangalore and made a few arrests. The arrested people reportedly include DK Srinivas, son of politician and Businessman Adikesavulu Naidu. As part of the raids, Naidu and his friends were nabbed by the sleuths reportedly.

The NCB sleuths got credible information about drug abuse at an apartment. Not leaving the opportunity, the officials raised the apartment and placed a few people under arrest including DK Srinivasulu Naidu.

To get more pieces of evidence, the NCB sleuths raided residences and offices of the accused spread in Bengaluru, and drug packets were reportedly found. Upon seizing the packers, the accused were arrested by the investigating officers and further investigation is underway.

As the D. K. Adikesavulu Naidu family is one of the big families that is into politics and business in Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka, the news surprised many. Though many rackets were busted by the NCB officials, members of no big family were arrested by the officials in the recent incidents.

The family has been in politics and used to represent the Telugu Desam Party. Until 2014, the family had political representation. However, the party is keeping its distance from politics for quite some time. After keeping their distance, the family is in the news for the wrong reason.

The Bengaluru drug racket is a big case in recent times after the Banjara Hills rave party. Though many names did not come out, many feel that the names were not let out given the status they enjoy in society. It is believed that children coming from political families, business families, and big families were accused in the case. The issue even led to a political war between the ruling TRS and the opposition Congress in the state.
