Foreign Liquor Lovers say cheers to Elite Outlets

Excise Department is always known to be the best revenue generating source for any State Government. And Hence, Chief Ministers take special care & keep working on improving the revenue further.

Actually, People used to buy foreign branded liquor whenever they have been to other Nations. TRS Government is now working on making the process much simple by introducing Elite Outlets. The License holders will be permitted to sell foreign branded whisky, beer, wine and few premium foreign brands manufactured in India. These outlets selling premium brands would be set up in all the districts. They will also be available in malls, super markets and multiplexes in the urban areas.

TRS Government has set a fixed price of Rs 1.25 crore per annum for the license fee. License holders can't sell the liquor above the MRP price as computerized bills should be generated.

Elite Outlets might fetch an additional revenue of around Rs 200 crore to the State Exchequer. State Government is aiming for a revenue generation of Rs 12,500 crore just from liquor sales this year.
