The License holders will be permitted to sell foreign branded whisky, beer, wine and few premium foreign brands manufactured in India. These outlets selling premium brands would be set up in all the districts. They will also be available in malls, super markets and multiplexes in the urban areas.
TRS Government has set a fixed price of Rs 1.25 crore per annum for the license fee. License holders can't sell the liquor above the MRP price as computerized bills should be generated.
Elite Outlets might fetch an additional revenue of around Rs 200 crore to the State Exchequer. State Government is aiming for a revenue generation of Rs 12,500 crore just from liquor sales this year.
