The much-awaited by-election in Temple city Tirupati has started today. The opposition TDP, which wants to prove a point in the election is visiting the polling booths to see that no unwanted incidents take place.

As part of the poll booth visit, the TDP alleged that fake voters from neighboring Tamil Nadu have entered the temple city and raised a question of ruling YSRCP's hand behind this.

The candidates of BJP and TDP Ratna Prabha and Panabaka Lakshmi complained about the fake voters to the election officers. The election officers have been identified by the officials.

TDP leaders, including Panabaka Lakshmi, have identified fake voters standing in the voter Q line at the polling stations and handed over them to the election officers. The videos of TDP leaders asking the 'fake' voters to show their Voter IDs went viral on social media.

On the other hand, the BJP has also caught hold of fake voters who are believed to have come from Nellore and Ongole. When a BJP woman leader asked a voter to tell his details like his name and his father's name, he couldn't.

The BJP leaders handed over him along with ten others who reportedly came to the booth to cast fake votes.
