Farmers Agitation: AAP government says, within 24-48 hours wifi facility will be set up at protes
The farmers who are opposing the controversial agricultural bill trio introduced by the union government have been protesting for the past 32 days on the outskirts of Delhi.
The efforts of the union government to settle the issues with the farmers are in vain as the multiple rounds of talks held between the government and the farmers' unions didn't help in getting the situation under control.
As another development in the Farm Bills Row, the Aam Aadmi Party(AAP) government, which has been supporting the farmers' agitation has announced that a wi-fi facility will be provided for the farmers at the protest sites.
In a tweet, made in Hindi on the official handle of AAP, the party said, 'Aam Aadmi Party will provide wifi for farmers at protest sites. The first hotspot to be activated in 24-48 hours. The request was made by the farmers to set up wifi as they are unable to talk with their loved ones on phone.
On the other hand, Social activist Anna Hazare said, if the demands of the farmers are not fulfilled in time, he will stage a protest in January, next year.
The farmers' unions will meet the union government on the 3oth of December to hold talks, which marks the sixth round of talks over the concerns the farmers have regarding the agricultural bills.
