TDP Government took almost 3-and-a-half years to finalize the design of new Secretariat coming up in Amaravati. AP Chief Minister has finally okayed the design for the iconic structure.
About 3 Designs have been prepared by the Norman Forster Team for AP Secretariat. CM Chandrababu Naidu has given his consent to one of them with minor corrections. AP's new Secretariat will have five towers. Adjacent to CMO, Four Towers will be coming up on the four corners. The aerial view gives an impression that a good distance is maintained between all the Towers. Greenery around the towers is gonna make the entire structure look wonderful.
In the Tower of Chief Minister's Office, There will be the offices of Chief Secretary and Administrative Department. In the other four Towers, Offices of Ministers, Principal Secretaries, HoDs and other Secretariat Employees will exist. Each of these Towers will have as many as 36 Floors. Compared to other Towers, The Tower of CMO will be at more height. Both Vaastu and Safety have been given utmost priority by the Government. These Towers will be coming up in 40 lakh sq feet area.
