Finally Gali gets bail

Beleaguered mining baron and former Karnataka minister Gali Janardhan Reddy was granted conditional bail by a Supreme court in OMC mining scam.The CBI had arrested him on September 5, 2011, in connection with the Obulapuram Mining Company (OMC) case.He is the first accused in the OMC case.

Supreme court has imposed several conditions while granting the bail and asked him to surrender the passport.Apart from that Reddy has to give Rs. 10 lakh as a surety to the court.

The Supreme Court has ordered him not to visit Ballari.With this Janagardhan Reddy will be freed from the Parappana Agrahara jail on Jan 21.

Gali  who had earlier managed to get bail in four cases, was rejected bail by the CBI special court recently  in Obalapuram Mining Company (OMC)  case.However  Reddy moved to Supreme Court and managed to obtain the bail.
