A court in Bihar directed the cops to register an FIR against Union Minister Giriraj Singh for his controversial 'white-skin' remark against AICC Chief Sonia Gandhi.

Vidyanand Singh, a Congress leader in Muzaffarpur district, filed a defamation case against Giriraj Singh for his derogatory remark against Sonia Gandhi. Sub-Divisional Magistrate ordered the police to lodge an FIR and report to the court within a week.

Union Minister Upendra Kushwaha also found fault with the derogatory comments of Girish Singh and said a person holding such post need to refrain from making controversial statements.

A couple of days ago, Girish Singh questioned, "Had if Rajiv Gandhi had married a Nigerian Lady and not a white-skinned, will Congress still accept her leadership".
