Around Rs 80 lakh worth jewellery was stolen from the residence of Aamir Khan's wife and director Kiran Rao. A relative of Kiran Rao lodged a police complaint in this regard at the Khar Police Station in Mumbai.
As per the complaint, The lost goods include an expensive ring and a diamond necklace.
Cops suspect domestic helps could have been behind the theft. A case was registered under Section 453 of the Indian Penal Code. Maids have been taken into custody for questioning. Raids were conducted at their houses to check if there is any jewellery.
