Fire Mishap in Delhi leaves several dead and Injured!

In an unfortunate turn of events, a massive fire mishap was reported in the national capital Delhi, which had claimed multiple lives and left many people sustaining serious injuries, who were shifted to the nearby hospital for further treatment. The rescue team gave its best in evacuating the victims from the spot.

Going into detail, a big fire broke out at the four-storey building in west Delhi on the evening of Friday. The rescue team was called immediately and as many as 27 bodies have been recovered and the officials feel that the death count can go up.

Reports say that around 70 people were rescued from the building and over 40 people sustained severe injuries and were shifted to the hospital facility for the treatment. The condition of a few injured victims is said to be serious.

The building which caught fire was an office space. As the establishment is located near the Metro Sttaion, many passersby recorded the incident on their mobile phones and the same videos went viral on social media. The firefighters rushed to the spot and carried out the rescue operation, by safely evacuating the victims from the building.

Expressing concerns about what happened in the national capital, the dignitaries like the Honorable President Ramnath Kovind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal condoled the death of the victims and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured victims.

The family members of the deceased victims will be given Rs 2 lakh each, while the injured victims will be getting Rs 50,000 each. The Prime Minister's office said the same in a tweet while condoling the deaths.

The fire mishap had reportedly happened on the first floor of the multi-storey building. The first floor has an office that is for manufacturing the CCTV cameras and routers. The CCTV footage is being examined by the Police department to investigate the matter.

There are many doubts about the reason behind the fire mishap at the building. To know the reason that triggered the mishap, the investigation is being carried out by the investigation officers, and the CCTV footage might come in hand.
