First-Ever COVID-19 Case Reported in Noida

Weeks after news of coronavirus cases reported in India the cases are getting more day by day with cases being reported from various parts of the country. While Delhi and Hyderabad saw first cases in the respective cities, Noida joins the list now creating more panic over COVID-19.

Going into detail, Noida registered a new coronavirus positive case where one of the parents of a school student in Nodia was tested positive for the virus and the school was also shut with the fear of spreading the virus.

With the emergence of the deadly virus, the concerned health officials swung into the action and started the process of fumigation to sanitize the affected place. All the parents were directed to take their kids to homes immediately.

 

Blood samples of around five families have been sent for further medical examination. Following this, all the internal examinations were canceled by the school management. While there is no information on the 10th and 12th board exams.

 

"The school building is being sanitized and blood tests of five families have been sent for examination," the CMO said. Talking about the deadly situation in the region, Chief Medical Officer of Gautam Budh Nagar Dr. Anurag Bharghav said that he has rushed to the school after receiving the reports of the virus.
