First 'Green Fungus' Case reported in India, patient airlifted to Mumbai from Indore!
As a new worry to India over the Covid outbreak, the first Green Fungus case was reported in the country. A 34-year-old patient was detected with the newest Fungus in Madhya Pradeshâs Indore.
Going into detail, a 34-year-old person, a Covid survivor has beaten the virus recently. As he had a doubt of catching the black fungus, the person underwent a test. The test reports came back confirming that he developed Green Fungus in his Lungs.
District Data Manager of Indore's Health Department, Apoorva Tiwari said, the person has been undergoing treatment for a one and a half month period at the Aurobindo hospital. He developed a lung infection. After testing him, Green Fungus was detected.
The new fungus is quite different from the Black Fungus. She said this could be the first case of Green Fungus reported in the country.
He was airlifted to Mumbai from Indore for treatment in an ambulance. He underwent tests after he developed symptoms of nosebleeds and fever, 10-15 days after getting discharged from the hospital.
Green Fungus is the new addition of the Fungus to be reported in Covid survivors. Earlier. Black Fungus, White Fungus, Yellow Fungus, and Cream Fungus were detected among the patients.
