BJP is going to form the government in Uttar Pradesh with a record majority in the Assembly. It is most likely to win over 300 Assembly Seats. CM Akhilesh Yadav sought Governor's appointment at 2 PM Today to submit his resignation.

Now, It's time to decide who will be the choice of BJP for the Chief Minister's Post. As many as five leaders have been in race for the top post…

Keshav Prasad Mourya:

He is the President of Uttar Pradesh BJP. He is representing Phulpur Lok Sabha constituency. Though he wasn't seen much in the poll campaigning, He is instrumental in bringing BJP to power with his strategies. Electing him as CM will woo OBCs towards BJP.

Rajnath Singh:

Union Home Minister serves as Uttar Pradesh CM in 2002. He attended over 120 rallies as part of the poll campaign. Would he leave National Politics for UP CM Post?

Manoj Sinha:

He is representing Ghazipur Lok Sabha Segment. Currently, He is serving as MoS for Railways & Telecom. He belongs to the Brahmin Community.

Yogi Adityanath:

This BJP Firebrand Leader represents Ghorakhpur Lok Sabha constituency. Though he have RSS support, Chances of electing him as CM look bleak because of his controversial track record.

Varun Gandhi:

BJP has completely sidelines this Sultanpur MP during the poll campaigning. But, He can't be ruled out for CM post as of now.
