AP Govt To Sign 100 MoU's In Three Days

The 22nd edition of Confederate of Indian Industry or CII Partnership Summit, kicks off in Visakhapatnam yesterday. Andhra Pradesh has signed MoUs with various companies for an investment tune of Rs.1.95 lakh crore. The government on Sunday signed 32 MoUs with various companies involving an investment of Rs 1.95 lakh crore.

"We have signed 32 Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) which would attract investments to the tune of Rs 1.95 lakh crore in the state. Out of 32, 22 MoUs are in energy sector. As many as 49 MoUs in the IT sector was signed on Monday." Chandrababu Naidu said.

CBN addressing media says that total investment would create job opportunities for nearly 95,000 people. Naidu says about Anil Ambani led Reliance announcing  setting up of a new ship building facility with an initial investment of Rs 5,000 crore in the state.

The Sunrise City of AP Investor's Meet is being conducted at the APIIC maidan. Day two of the summit begins with a plenary discussion on 'Sunrise Andhra Pradesh: Turning aspirations into reality-Vision 2029.' The summit has been organised to showcase investment opportunities in 'Sunrise Andhra Pradesh' and the three-day event is expected to see signing of over 100 MoUs.
