Following violent incidents at farmers protest, Amit Shah chairs key review meeting!

The farmers' agitation against the controversial agricultural bills reached the iconic Red Fort in the national capital Delhi today, on the occasion of the Republic Day elections.

As a bid to protest against the Agri bills, some protestors have barged into the Red Fort and hoisted the religious saffron flag called Nishan Sahib by climbing on to the poles at the Red Fort.

Following the unwanted developments, Union Home Minister Amit Shah chaired a review meeting to review the security arrangements at the national capital aftermath of the violent incidents.

According to the media reports, Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla and Delhi Police Commissioner SN Srivastava, and other key officials were present during the crucial review meeting.

With things escalating quickly at the national capital, media reports claim that the centre is likely to deploy additional paramilitary forces to see that the situations get under control.

When the country is celebrating the 72nd Republic Day celebrations today, hundreds of farmers have barged into Delhi to protest against the controversial agricultural bills.

While some protestors hoisted the religious flag on top of the Red Fort, a violent incident was reported from the ITO area, located in the heart of the national capital after a farmer died while protesting.

The incident kickstarted clashed between the police personnel and the farmers protesting against the three much-talked-about agricultural bills.
