Former Australian Says Virat Should Think Of Having His Newborn In Australia

Indian skipper Virat Kohli, who is in Australia for the Aussies tour will fly back to India after the first test as he got BCCI's approval to take paternity leave. He and his first wife Anushka Sharma are expecting their first child in January 2021.

When Virat is expecting his first child, veteran Australian cricketer Allen border in his interview said that Virat Kohli might think about having his newborn baby in Australia, so that they can claim Virat's newborn as an Australian citizen.

The Australian cricket commentator and former international cricketer said he is making these remarks jovially and wished Virat Kohli on his first child.

Talking about the Aussies tour, Allen Border said that Kohli's absence in the test series is the best time for the Australian team to win the test series. He called Virat irreplaceable.

Adding further, Border said he likes the way Virat Kohli plays the game and lauded his passion for the game.

During Virat Kohli's absence, Ajinkya Rahane will lead the Indian team for the remaining tests.

Allen Border is widely regarded as one of the greatest players of the Australian team. The Border–Gavaskar Trophy Test cricket series between India and Australia is named after Allen Border and Sunil Gavaskar. The two players are the first players to reach the 10,000 runs milestone in test cricket from Australia and India.
