Former MP Kota Saidaiah was found in a pool of blood at his residence in Guntur. Preliminary investigation confirmed he was murdered by his Grandson Anji.
Reportedly, Anji slit the throat of his 80-Year-Old Grandfather while he was in an inebriated condition. He fled from the scene of crime soon after the murder.
Cops have booked a murder case and carrying out the investigation. Search operation was launched to nab the accused who is absconding.
Saidaiah was the TDP Candidate for Narsaraopet Lok Sabha Constituency in 1996 Elections. He won against Congress candidate Kasu Krishna Reddy by a margin of around 2,000 votes.
