As a major shock to YSRCP leader, former Nandikotkuru Legislator Isaiah, a police case was filed against him, his wife, and his son at the Disha Police Station on Wednesday.
As per the media reports, the case was registered after the former MLAâs daughter-in-law Sameera Rani complained of harassment and physical assault. She claimed that she was physically assaulted even though she was pregnant.
She reportedly staged a protest outside the Collectorate against her husband and in-laws. As a response to her complaint, the Police registered a case against them at the Disha Police Station.
Disha Police stations were started in Andhra Pradesh in 2019 to deal with the crimes against women and children. The Police Stations were named after Veterinarian Disha who was killed in Telanganaâs Hyderabad.
Isaiah was in YSRCP in 2014. After Jagan refused to give him a party ticket for the 2019 elections, he shifted his loyalties to the TDP. However, he failed to get a TDP ticket too. Later he returned back to YSRCP.
