Former PM Manmohan Singh tests Covid-19 positive, shifted to AIIMS Delhi!West
Congress veteran, former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has tested positive for the novel Coronavirus on Monday. For treatment, he has been admitted to the AIIMS facility in Delhi.
The former Prime Minister tested positive for the deadly respiratory disease, weeks after taking the vaccine dose. He had taken the first dose of the Coronavirus vaccine earlier last month.
On the fourth of March, former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh and his wife Gursharan Kaur received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine in the Delhi facility of AIIMS.
As per the media reports, Manmohan Singh is undergoing treatment at the Delhi AIIMS. More details on his health condition are awaited.
After knowing the news, TMC chief, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee took to microblogginsgite Twitter and wished a speedy and full recovery for Mr. Singh.
"Just got the news that former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh Ji has tested positive for COVID. Sir, our thoughts and prayers for a speedy and full recovery, " the Chief Minister's tweet reads
