In a piece of good news, India witnessed a dip on fresh Coronavirus infections in the last 24 hours. With 70,589 fresh infected detected in a single day, Indiaâs caseload pass surged 61 lakh-mark and reached 61,45,291.
Despite being the second worst-affected nation globally, India managed to bring down the average of daily infections. India has been reporting over 80,000 for the past few days.
On a brighter note, total recoveries in India rose to 51,01,398, including as many as 84,877 patients beating the novel Coronavirus in the last 24 hours. Indiaâs recovery rate increased to over 82 percent. There are 9,47,576 active cases in India.
