JC Diwakar Reddy was one of the few loud-mouthed TDP Leaders who used to come all guns blazing at YS Jaganmohan Reddy prior to the 2019 Elections. Post the elections, The Former MP kept trying as much as possible to stay in the good books of the Chief Minister. What could be his game plan behind the u-turn?
For the first time ever, JC Family faced defeat in the elections. Neither Diwakar Reddy's Son JC Pavan Kumar (Anantapur Lok Sabha) nor Prabhakar Reddy's Son Ashmith Reddy (Tadipatri) could emerge victorious to continue the family legacy. That is when JC Brothers thought of maintaining good relations with Jagan at least until the completion of his first term as CM.
Speaking to mediapersons in the Assembly lobby, JC Diwakar Reddy described YS Jaganmohan Reddy as a gutsy leader. 'Jagan is someone who would do whatever he wants to do...a gutsy leader. His decision on Arogya Shri is appreciable. I would convey that to him if we come face-to-face with each other. Won't bother whatever Chandrababu Naidu might feel about it,' he commented.
When TDP Leadership kept criticizing the 6-months rule of YCP, JC Diwakar Reddy continued to appreciate decisions implemented during Jagan's regime. He might be trying to shield his coterie with positive comments on the present government. There is every possibility of JC Family moving closer to YCP rather than continuing in TDP or joining BJP. May be, Pavan Reddy and Ashmith Reddy use their friendship with Jagan to get entry into YCP.
