Veteran Bharatiya Janata Party leader Bandaru Dattatreya has been hosting the Alai-Balai program by bringing personalities from different platforms for a long time. The highlight of the program is that the program glorifies the Telangana culture, be it the instruments on the style of arrangements that go into the event.
Nampally area saw a big crowd with the Alai-Balai program. Leaders from various political parties were present at the program. Kerala Governor Arif Mohammed Khan was also invited. Megastar Chiranjeevi became the center of the attraction at the program.
However, Chiranjeevi faced an embarrassing situation as literary performer Garikapati Narasimha Rao asked Chiranjeevi to stop the photo session or else he will leave the stage. Garikapati's comments stunned everyone and no one would have expected that.
When Chiranjeevi reached the stage, people rushed to him and clicked pictures. The film star also did not say no to their request. People clicking pictures when he was giving Avadhanam in the middle of the event irked him and he asked Chiranjeevi to stop the photo sessions.
"Chiranjeevi garu, enough with your photo sessions. If you don't stop your photos spree, I will leave the venue. I don't have any intention of staying here," Garikapati said in the video that is doing rounds.
Garikapati is a no-nonsense man and speaks his heart out. On many occasions, he expressed his concern about how people are worried about inviting which star to the Ganesh Mandap rather than celebrating the festival. When he saw people rushing at the star he asked them to stop.
