Geeta, the deaf-mute girl who was stranded in Pakistan for nearly 15 years, returned to India Today.
Foreign Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj said Geeta doesn't recognise her family even after meeting them in Delhi few hours ago. She informed DNA Tests will be performed soon to figure out the truth about the claims of Bihar Family that Geeta is their Daughter.
Sushma Swaraj made it clear Indian Government wants to bring back Geeta even if her parents weren't traced. She also thanked Edhi Foundation for taking care of the girl all these years in Pakistan. She added Geeta will be living at a home for speech and hearing impaired in Indore.
Until now, Four Families across the Country have claimed Geeta is their missing Daughter. AIIMS Team have already collected Geeta's DNA Samples and the results will be known after two weeks.
