Will Ghattamanani's Have The Last Laugh In Tenali?

Update: 2018-08-22 13:33 GMT
Ghattamanenis are a filmi family. Super Star Krishna and his son Mahesh Babu are the shining stars of the Ghattamaneni stable. While Krishna has always been a Congressman and had represented Eluru in the Parliament, Mahesh Babu's brother-in-law Galla Jaydev is currently the Guntur MP.

But another Ghattamaneni too is eying a political career. He is Super Star Krishna's brother and film producer Ghattamaneni Adiseshagiri Rao. He has joined the YSRCP long back and is trying to contest from the Tenali Lok Sabha seat.

Tenali is an interesting constituency. Kollipara region is Reddy dominated, while Tenali rural is Kamma dominated. Elsewhere in the constituency, Kapus are a majority. But, YSRCP has a slew of leaders vying for the Tenali LS seat. While constituency incharge of the YSRCP Annabattuni Sivakumar has unsuccessfully contested in 2014, he is planning to try his luck this time also. Meanwhile Kapu strongman Ummareddy Venkateswarlu's son in law Kilaru Somaiah is also eyeing Tenali. He is doing everything he can to get the ticket. Even Nadendla Manohar, the former AP Assembly speaker and son of Nadendla Bhaskar Rao, is in touch with the YSRCP top leadership and might join the party anytime soon. If he joins the party, he would be a  tough contender for Tenali LS seat. Adiseshagiri Rao too is planning to contest from the same seat. Let's see if Ghattamananis have the last laugh.
