Google Launches Public Transport App in Delhi

Internet giant Google on Thursday launched a new app called Delhi Public Transport App. The experimental app will work in offline too and the app will make it easier for Delhiites to access public transport.

The app is built into Google Maps and Google says it can let user's access transit direction even on slow connections. The app will provide direction and time table information for Delhi Metro and availability of buses in offline too.

As per Google the app is designed for slow Internet speeds and low data plans. The Delhi Transport app is available for Android users from the Google Play store and it is compatible with Android versions 3.0 and above.According to Google, around 2.6 million people travel by Delhi Metro.
