Why did Karanam Balaram lift the chair?

Update: 2017-12-01 12:10 GMT
The friction between TDP Prakasam district Leaders Karanam Balaram and Gottipati Ravi Kumar is no secret. They don't mind crossing swords at each other whenever there is an opportunity for gaining an upper hand.

Actually, Gottipati Ravi Kumar won on YSR Congress ticket in 2014 Polls. He switched loyalties to TDP due to Operation Akarsh.

Minister Siddha Raghava Rao convened Prakasam District Party Coordination Committee Meeting. Both Karanam and Gottipati attended this meet. Even before the arrival of in-charge Minister P Narayana, Prakasam district party president Ramacherla Govardhan began the meeting. 9th Point in the Agenda led to shocking twist. Parchuru MLA Sambasiva Rao intervened during the discussion on appointment of working board members of Market Committees. He sought Martur Market Yard Committee Chairman post for his loyalist. Then, Karanam Balaram suggested Sambasiva Rao to do as per his wish without bothering about newcomers (targeting Gottipati Ravi).

Quickly, Gottipati Ravi replied: 'I had joined TDP only one-and-a-half year ago. Why did you fail to appoint chairman since the past two years? Why do you drag me into the issue?'.

Then, Karanam Balaram questioned: 'Didn't you stop appointment of Singarakonda Devasthanam Working Board? Didn't you stop pensions and housing?'.

In a serious tone, Gottipati asked: 'Who stopped them and why? Don't speak nonsense every now then. This isn't acceptable, I am ready to go to any extent'.

Karanam said those who changed party have no right to speak. Then, Gottipati pointed out his family joined TDP when NTR floated the party and advised Karanam not to preach him what to do. That's when Karanam Balaram lost his cool and raised the chair in air. Even Gottipati reacted in a very serious manner. Ministers pacified both the leaders and ended the meeting at last.
