Governor offers appointment to Palanisamy

Update: 2017-02-14 11:13 GMT
Soon after being elected as Leader of Legislative Party by Sasikala's Camp, Edappadi Palanisamy has written an letter to Tamil Nadu Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao staking claim of CM Post. He claims to be having the confidence of AIADMK MLAs to form the Government.

Palanisamy sought the appointment of Governor Vidyasagar Rao to prove his majority. Governor offered appointment to the Sasikala's loyalist at 5:30 PM Today. He, however, didn't allow parading of AIADMK MLAs at Raj Bhavan.

Soon after meeting the Governor, Palanisamy will give him a representation carrying signatures of the MLAs supporting him as the Leader of Legislative Party. He would then urge Governor to call him for the swearing-in ceremony or trust vote in the floor of the House.

Is the Tamil Nadu Governor willing to entertain Sasikala's Camp at least now? or Would he wait for some more time to see if MLAs in Sasikala's hold establish a stable government? Let's see!
