Tanushree Dutta's sexual harassment allegations against Nana Patekar led to the #MeToo Movement in India. Women from different walks of life began speaking openly about the mental trauma they had underwent due to the sexual abuse by the powerful men in every field.

Finally, Central Government responded over the #MeToo Movement. Union Minister of Women & Child Development Maneka Gandhi told, 'I believe in the pain and trauma behind every single complaint. Sexual Harassment at work place should be dealt with Zero-Tolerance. A Four Member Judges Committee was constituted to examine such cases'.

Judges Committee would look into the legal framework and advise the Ministry for ensuring better atmosphere at the work place. Maneka Gandhi maintained Sexual Harassment Complaints will be accepted even if it's based on incidents happened 15 years ago.

On the other hand, Producers Guild Of India got ready to establish a Panel to take action on the sexual abusers in the Film Industry.
